ANNOUNCEMENTS

Reminder: facial coverings at all times while at school

We were informed by Ventura County Public Health that the updated school guidance issued by the state requires all students in every grade (as well as all adults) to wear facial coverings while at school. The previous guidance did not require masks for K4-2nd grades.

Some people may be exempt from wearing facial coverings. If your child needs to be exempted for medical reasons, we must have a copy of the doctor's note on file in the school office. This information would only be shared with the teacher and administration as needed and with public health officials if required by law to do so.

NO PARKING IN FRONT OF GATES

PLEASE do NOT park your car in front of the gates at any time.
We get quite a few cars who pull up and idle in front of our "No parking sign" during the day. Blocking the gates is a potential hazard in case of emergency. Let's set a good example to our children and follow this simple rule.
We have a nice, big parking lot with plenty of spaces. Please let anyone who picks your child/children up know this as well since they probably aren't on our e-mailing list.

YEARBOOK NEWS

Due to COVID-19 closing the public schools, LifeTouch found the need to lay off most of their staff for 3 months which caused a major delay with our fall pictures. Now they are back in the swing of things and wanted to thank you for your patience so they printed a class picture for every student.

If you joined us after Oct 2nd, your child won't be in the class composite this year but he/she can enjoy having the picture of his/her new friends.

Soccer Balls needed

If you have any extra soccer balls taking up space in your garage (that you aren't using anymore), we'd love the donation. We would also welcome donations of new soccer balls if you are so inclined :-)

Early Enrollment Discount

The board of directors voted to increase tuition by only 1% this year resulting in a yearly $53 increase for elementary or $55 for Jr. High. Take advantage of our early enrollment discount to get $100 off your child(ren)'s tuition.
Turn in all enrollment paperwork and fees by June 4th to get this discount.

Covid-19 Reminders

The state of California is set to “fully reopen” on June 15th provided that it can continue to meet “equitable vaccine availability” and “consistently low burden of disease”. Get details HERE.
